<strong>Brian Bailys</strong> is in recovery and his last experience in treatment had a dramatic impact on his life. He started his career in public accounting and for the last 20 years focused on consulting for high net worth individuals. He was diagnosed with severe depression and alcoholism and was placed in a co-occurring disorder partial hospitalization program with seven other people who helped breathe life back into him. Unfortunately, six of those seven people relapsed within 90 days.

Brian knew there had to be a better way, and after learning that quality aftercare was the tremendous gap in treatment, he founded Ascent.org. Ascent combines an e-recovery tool with virtual peer-recovery coaching. Their mission is to help reduce relapse rates in this country and help those that suffer from substance use disorder stay connected and achieve long term sobriety. For Ascent it’s not work, it’s life.
