Quick Response Team

Dan Meloy and his team shared how they implemented Quick Response Teams in Colerain and in doing so, reduced the number of overdoses, assisted many into treatment and changed the culture in their community.

With the assistance of Dan Meloy and the Colerain Team, we are providing these resources to help communities in Northeast Ohio who wish to roll out Quick Response Teams:

How effective are Quick Response Teams?

  • Since its induction, the Colerain Quick Response Team has had an 80% success rate in getting those suffering from opioid abuse into treatment.
  • In 2015, there was a 30% reduction in opioid-related overdoses
